The Bridgeburg District has been super busy this year reallocating their budget to support important new initiatives!

One of the awesome new businesses we are assisting, The Bell Tower Community Arts & Entertainment Complex, is leading the way in creating entertaining, local, and safe community events, including Country Nights, Karaoke Evenings and charity events such as The Breast Cancer Walk and Kinks and Drags (to aid Fort Erie's C.O.P.E.).

Many noteworthy Grand Openings have taken place this year including our own Real Estate Office, Royal LePage's Dawn Kendrick, and our new Sun Life Financial Planning Office (Katie Miller and Kyle Campbell).

We welcomed Atrium Spa, an incredible business owned by Val Fyke, to the celebration of Fate Salon's 50th year in business with their showcase new building. These new and improved businesses give a fresh energy and light to Bridgeburg, setting superior standards as the next generation of businesses to the area. Many buildings have been recently purchased, and there are a few facade grant contracts that have been signed for commitment, so be on the lookout for even more renovated buildings over the next 6 to 12 months!

The BBIA have a full schedule of exciting events planned for this year, including a brand-new event we'd like to call the Old Fashioned Street Dance... stay tuned for more info on this in the coming weeks.

We truly want to keep you on the edge of your seats, as there will be another outstanding event to come in 2018 which we promise will bring back Bridgeburg's history.

The Halloween Trick or Treat event will be run this year by The Bell Tower, and last but not least, we have some really incredible announcements to come about this year's Santa Claus Parade. Phew!

The town has been aiding the district, and is currently busy repairing sidewalks in the area: a temporary fix to our long term plan of achieving a major overhaul of the street. We have already taken the first steps by securing appropriate funding for the design, including sidewalks, light posts, garden, irrigation, and much more.

One thing's for sure: Bridgeburg just keeps on getting better!
